There have been rumors that Tecno will be launching a Tecno Pova Neo 5G before the end of 2022. The brand originally released a Pova Neo in 2021, they are coming back with an upgraded version and it comes with 5G.
The brand made an official announcement on Twitter and it is going to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G.
The phone is expected to come with a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ display. It is expected to ship with Android 12, with new and refined HiOs on the device. The Tecno Pova Neo 5G is expected to come with a 6000mAh battery. It is no surprise because the Pova series by Tecno is gaming-centric with great battery life.
The phone is also expected to come with a centered punch hole display housing its front camera. We are not yet certain about the camera specifications the phone will come with, but as soon as we have any news we’ll share it here immediately. In a similar announcement, Infinix is also expected to launch the Hot 20 Series.
It is expected that the phone might be available before the end of September in India. The price is expected to be around $250 which equals 19,999 INR. It is also expected to be available across the African market around the same time it is made available in India.
Tecno has previously launched the Tecno Pova 3 earlier, but it was just made available in select markets.
