At the time of writing this post, you can get this power bank at the e-store at ₦25000 and it only comes in one color black. If you are getting it at other online outlets like Jumia and Konga, It might be a little bit expensive in this store and you already know why.

Design And Build

Oraimo 30,000mAh Power Bank

Now to the design, most power bank users prefer their power banks to be portable, and lightweight with multiple ports. Surprisingly, the Oraimo 30,000mAh power bank comes with all of these qualities. The power bank comes in the usual rectangular shape with curved edges. The power bank is covered with a durable plastic with 3D texture, the body texture is sturdy and can withstand daily wear and tear.

At the top of the power bank is where the ports are suited. And beside the ports, is a torch, the torch can double as SOS emergency lighting in case of any emergencies. At the front of the power bank is a circular LED display, this helps in displaying the battery percentage of the power bank.

All you need to do is press the power button by the side to get a glance at the battery percentage of the power bank. Furthermore, this Oraimo power bank comes with all the necessary safety protocols to help keep both you and your devices safe. You don’t need to worry about any form of short circuit, overcharging, or overheating.

Features

The Oraimo 30,000mAh power bank is a massive powerhouse, its 30,000mAh battery capacity can last you for a week on a single charge but that depends on how you use it. We will come to that in a bit. The power bank comes with a total of 6 ports at the top which I mentioned earlier—dual input ports and four USB-A output ports. One of the input ports is a Type-C that serves as both an input and output port.

So what this means is that you can use the Type-C port to recharge the power bank and when you are not using it to recharge the power bank, you can use it to charge your phone. With that said, the Oraimo 30,000mAh power bank features a total of 5 output ports. Another thing to note is that two of the USB-A ports come with the Anifast fast charging technology and an intelligent chip to detect if your device supports fast charging or not.

If it detects that your device supports fast charging protocols, it auto-switchs charging mode, and if it doesn’t, it continues to charge your device at a normal charging mode. This helps make the power bank widely compatible and can charge even low-current devices like smartwatches and earbuds. The maximum power output of this power bank is 15W, and when you compare it with other power banks in the market, you realize that this is a bit behind others. However, these other power banks are way more expensive, so I get why Oraimo sticks to the 15W, power output.

Performance

With its massive 30,000mAh capacity, this power bank guarantees to charge your device a multiple time. Oraimo claimed that it can charge your iPhone 13 9x, the Galaxy S22 4.9x, and the iPad Mini 4.4x. If your phone has a battery capacity of 5000mAh, this power bank can charge for at least 6x, which is ok for me. So you can see that if you only use the power bank to charge a single device, it can take you for a whole week.

However, if you are the one that has multiple devices, the good news is that can charge five devices on this power bank at once without sacrificing the speed of one for the other. But the bad news is that the power bank won’t last for a whole week. It should only take you for a least three days. Recharging the power bank can be done in two ways—either you use the micro USB port or the Type-C port. One problem here is that recharging this power bank takes a long time.

If you are using the Type-C port to recharge, it will take about 18 hours for it to be fully recharged while the micro USB port takes about 20-21 hours depending on the charging cable. If you are the type that constantly uses your phone, I advise you to recharge the power bank whenever you have the opportunity to. This helps you to continue to use it and you won’t have to wait that long.

Final Verdict

The Oraimo 30,000mAh power bank is a good power bank for anyone on the move and those who constantly need their phone to be one. The fact that it can charge up to five devices at once is a plus for me. Though a lot of you would have complained about the low recharging, let’s look at the bright side, this power bank is way more affordable and when you use it wisely, you won’t experience that long recharging time problem. Do I recommend this power bank? Sure and if you don’t have much I recommend you get the 20,000mAh Oraimo power banks. They are also good and reliable power banks.
