OPPO Reno 8 Pro & Reno 8 line of smartphones has finally made it to Europe. After debuting in China and a few other international countries. Let’s quickly check out their specs and prices. However, for those who haven’t heard about the release of this Oppo series in China, can still read this post.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro & Reno 8 Specifications
The Reno 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with HDR10+ compatibility and a 120Hz refresh rate.The Reno 8 sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Yet, HDR10 is not supported by the default model.
Both variants have built-in fingerprint scanners for displays. The Reno 8 Pro has Dimensity 8100-Max chipset i, as opposed to the Dimensity 1300 processor in the base model. Oppo went with a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option for both device.
Both models have cameras with similar technology. But the Pro model performs better. A 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera are all present on both devices.
The front of the gadget houses a 32MP IMX709 sensor with an RGBW matrix for improved low-light performance. Both devices will run ColorOS 12.1, an Android 12.0-based operating system. A 4,500mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC rapid charging are shared by both devices. However, wireless charging is not supported.
Oppo Reno 8 Lite Specifications
The 6.43-inch AMOLED screen on the OPPO Reno 8 Lite boasts an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. There is a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner. The gadget has a built-in fingerprint reader.
The Reno 8 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It includes 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. There is RAM technology that can be upgraded up to 5GB.
The smartphone includes a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W quick charging. On the back panel of the OPPO Reno 8 Lite, there is a rectangular camera module. Around the camera ring, you will find two orbit lights that illuminate. if there is any form of notifications
The camera system combines a 64MP primary sensor with 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. The device has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
The device has 5G, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm socket, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as communication options.. ColorOS 12, which is based on Android 12, comes preinstalled on the OPPO Reno 8 Lite 5G.

The OPPO Reno8 has 8/256GB of RAM costs €600. The same 8/256GB capacity is available for the Reno8 Pro at a price of €800. The Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro can be purchased by UK customers for £420 and £600, respectively.
Customers in the EU pay €429 for the Reno 8 Lite, while those in the UK pay £319. Beginning on September 1st, the Reno 8 series will be available for purchase nationwide. Early purchasers will receive a free set of Enco X2 earbuds and a 3-year warranty extension.
